Department of Translation
The main goal of the Department of Translation is to train highly qualified translators in the field of English. Throughout their education, students become familiar with the fundamental, theoretical, and pragmatic aspects of translation. In particular, they gain deep insight into intercultural issues that arise in both oral and written translation between multiple languages.
Many courses are supported by advanced language laboratories that promote interactive learning. The department, which meets high quality standards, uses up-to-date teaching
materials and collaborates with professional translators from the USA, UK, Canada, Germany, Russia, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Poland.
