Western Caspian University Among Leaders in the Prestigious "Shanghai Ranking"
The results of the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) for 2026 have been announced by the "Shanghai Ranking" organization, which evaluates world higher education institutions based on scientific research, academic performance, and international reputation indicators.
According to the announced results, Western Caspian University achieved great success in the fields of Energy Science & Engineering, ranking in the 301–400 range among world universities.
It should be noted that Western Caspian University is the only higher education institution from Azerbaijan to enter this ranking list in these fields and directions.
This result is a successful outcome of the purposeful strategy implemented toward the development of scientific research activities at the university, the quality of scientific work conducted in the fields of engineering and energy, as well as integration into the international academic environment. The achieved success is a clear indication that Western Caspian University's research-oriented development course and scientific potential are recognized on a global scale.
