Dr. Asmer Valiyeva is an accomplished chemist and academic with extensive experience in teaching and research. She was born on March 11, 1986, in Baku, Azerbaijan. She completed her secondary education at School No. 54 in Baku in 2003.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Baku State University in 2007 and her master’s degree from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 2009. In 2010, Dr. Valiyeva began her professional career as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Chemistry and Inorganic Substances Technology at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
In 2012, she was admitted as a doctoral student in Physical Chemistry at ASOIU, where she also worked as a scientific researcher at the “New Chemical Materials and Technologies” laboratory until 2022. Her research contributions span a broad range of chemical sciences, and she is the author of 30 scientific publications.
Currently, Dr. Valiyeva is continuing her academic journey by pursuing a second master’s degree at the Italy-Azerbaijan University under ADA University, within the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Systems Management (AFSM).
In her current role, she teaches various courses including General Chemistry, Physical and Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry.

She is married and a mother of two.
