He was born in 1954 in the Dmanisi region of Georgia. Humbatov Mahmud Farzali was born on September 25, 1954 in the Republic of Georgia. In 1971-1975, he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Ganja State University, specializing in biology teaching. In 1975-1977, he worked as a teacher in the Kalbajar region, in 1978 he was admitted to the postgraduate course of the Institute of Physiology named after A. Garayev of ANAS, in 1984 he defended his dissertation entitled “Obtaining hybrids of Kursk bream and Amur whitefish and comparative study of their development conditions in early ontogenesis” and was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences. In 1984-1988, he worked as a research worker at the same institute, and in 1988-1990, he worked as a department head at the Rural Chemical Union. He worked as a teacher at the Medical University, Zangi Lyceum and preparatory courses in various years. From September 2019 to September 2022, he worked as a senior lecturer and then as an associate professor at the Department of Biology and Ecology at Lankaran State University. Since September 2022, he has been working as a full-time lecturer at the Department of Natural Sciences of the Western Caspian University. He is the author of more than 20 scientific articles and subject programs.
