Solmaz Hashim qizi Alasgarova was born in Baku in 1977. She studied at secondary school from 1983 to 1993 and entered the Faculty of Philology at Baku State University in 1993. After graduating in 1997, she continued her postgraduate studies at the same faculty until 1999. From that year onward, she worked at Baku Asia University. Since 2016, she has been a lecturer in the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature at Western Caspian University.
