Zümrüd Novruz qızı Nuriyeva was born on November 6, 1979. She studied at the History Faculty of Baku State University from 1996 to 2000. From 2002 to 2004, she completed her masters degree at the Department of History of Asian and African Countries at Baku State University. Between 2001 and 2013, she worked as a history teacher at school No. 250 in Baku city. From 2007 to 2018, she worked on a contract basis as a history teacher at the private educational complex “XXI ƏSR – ÜTM.” From 2012 to 2015, she was a full-time doctoral candidate in the Department of History of European and American Countries at Baku State University. At the same time, she worked as an hourly paid instructor at the same department. Currently, she is a lecturer at the History Department of West Caspian University. She has published 15 scientific articles both domestically and internationally.
