About the Program
The Masters program in Legal Regulation of the Economy is an interdisciplinary academic course combining law, political science, and institutional economics. The program focuses on the legislative and judicial institutional aspects of the economy, including regulatory approaches and the role of bureaucratic norms and interest groups.
Masters students are required to complete scientific-pedagogical practice and defend a masters thesis to obtain the degree. Graduates should possess a deep understanding of theoretical principles and research methodologies, be capable of conducting scientific research, and prepared for pedagogical work and professional activities involving complex and unpredictable challenges.
Knowledge and Skills to Be Acquired
- Systematic theoretical and methodological understanding and analytical skills necessary for organizing, managing, and regulating socio-economic processes in production, social, cultural, and service sectors across both public and private organizations, firms, enterprises, and national and international institutions;
- Ability to develop work plans and research programs, and to prepare tasks for individual and group research projects;
- Ability to structure professional activities on a scientific basis, analyze outcomes, and process data using computer technologies;
- Ability to conduct research and propose policy solutions in areas such as sectoral economic development, forecasting, modeling, regulation, environmental protection, tourism development, and labor economics, including evaluating efficiency and designing targeted action plans;
- Competence in developing and applying theoretical, economic, and mathematical models for regulating and assessing macroeconomic policies, labor organization, environmental sustainability, and cultural or tourism-related processes;
- Ability to apply legislative and regulatory documents creatively to implement and manage national economic and environmental strategies;
- Skills in building and applying economic-mathematical models using forecasting, programming, and strategic planning approaches, incorporating IT tools and mathematical methods;
- Ability to identify principles, criteria, and tools for effectively organizing and managing the legal and economic transition toward innovation-driven development;
- Capacity to prioritize research topics, define research problems and methodology, and assess research effectiveness;
- Skills in collecting information, using computers, and organizing ones professional activities on a scientific basis.
