Students of the Western Caspian University visited the Veterinary Scientific Research Institute.

The head of the Department of Natural Sciences of the Western Caspian University, Ph.D. Ayaz Mammadov, teachers of the department, Ph.D. Mahmud Humbatov and Lamia Yaraliyeva, as well as students of the 232 SBIO group studying in the 3rd year of the specialty "Water Bioresources and Aquaculture" made an educational visit to the Veterinary Scientific Research Institute (VETI).

As part of the visit, the students received detailed information on visual examples of invasive and infectious diseases of fish during the presentation of the head of the department of "Bee and Fish Diseases" of the institute, Ph.D., associate professor Afat Suleymanova. The presentation, accompanied by practical exercises, aroused great interest among the students.

In addition, during the visit, the students were also introduced to the Veterinary Clinic operating under the Veterinary Institute and the work process carried out in its laboratories. The students were given detailed information about the equipment and diagnostic methods used in the laboratories. At the end of the visit, the director of the Veterinary Institute, PhD in Agricultural Sciences, associate professor Siala Rustamova met with the students, wished them success, and noted that such training sessions are of great importance in terms of their professional development and strengthening of practical knowledge.
