Professor Rashid Iqbal, a researcher at the Department of Natural Sciences of Western Caspian University and Director of the “Life Sciences Research Center”, has been recognized among the world's most distinguished scientists.
According to the international ranking prepared by Stanford University in 2024, Professor Rashid Iqbal was included in the prestigious “World’s Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists” list, which identifies the most highly cited researchers worldwide.
In addition, according to the SciRank Global 2025 ranking, he was recognized among the top 5% of scientists globally. A certificate commemorating this achievement was presented to Professor Rashid Iqbal in 2026.
Professor Rashid Iqbal has an H-index of 49. His research activities primarily focus on the fields of biochemistry, biology, and agricultural sciences.
