Training session on bullying and cyberbullying was held for students

In modern times, bullying, especially cyberbullying, is one of the problems that seriously affects the psychological and social well-being of young people. The use of violence and pressure against each other in a verbal, physical or digital environment can negatively affect their emotional health. Therefore, it is important for students to learn what bullying is, its consequences and ways to protect themselves from it.

The aim of this training is to educate students about bullying and cyberbullying, to increase their literacy on this topic and to teach them to distinguish bullying from ordinary conflicts. During the training, students were explained how to protect their personal information, behave safely on social media and what to do if they are exposed to cyberbullying.

This training is planned to teach students how to correctly assess bullying cases, protect themselves from it and build healthy social relationships. The aim is to prevent cases of violence and create a safe and supportive environment for students.

The trainer is Reyhan Ahmadova, associate professor at Western Caspian University, PhD in psychology.
