Nargiz Akhundova – Full Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Academic-Secretary of the Division of Social Sciences of ANAS, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor.
N.C. Akhundova is the author of 3 monographs, 3 textbooks, 2 teaching manuals, 11 curricula, and 79 scholarly articles. She has participated in both national and international scientific conferences. Her 3 published monographs are particularly noteworthy. Following the defense of her doctoral dissertation, she authored one teaching manual (“History of the Medieval Period in Asian and African Countries”), two monographs, one curriculum (“History of Arab Countries”), and 20 academic articles.
On June 30, 2014, she was elected a Corresponding Member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Since 2012, she has been serving as a Professor at Western Caspian University. She is also the academic supervisor of doctoral and PhD students.
