Objectives

Objectives of training in the specialty “Mechatronic and Robotics Engineering” are aimed at training engineers with interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of mechanics, electronics, automatic control, information technology and robotics, capable of designing, developing, implementing and maintaining intelligent technical systems and robotic complexes, working effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams, observing professional and ethical standards, and adapting to the rapidly changing requirements of engineering practice and scientific and technological progress.

Learning outcomes in the specialty “Mechatronic and Robotics Engineering”:

- ability to apply knowledge in mechanics, electronics and informatics necessary for development and operation of complex technical systems;

- ability to apply knowledge in kinematics, dynamics and control systems of mechatronic devices, as well as operation of information and measuring instruments and programming;

- ability to generate new approaches and solutions to improve automation of processes and control of various systems;

- ability to effectively use both domestic and international achievements in science and technology in the design, implementation and operation of automatic and mechatronic systems;

- ability to diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot automatic and mechatronic systems in order to increase their reliability and sustainability;

- ability to analyze and develop process diagrams of robotic manipulators and mechatronic systems, as well as organize their restoration and reconfiguration;

- ability to control technological processes in environments where robotic and mechatronic systems are used, as well as ensure safety of work with them, implementing labor protection and environmental standards;

- ability to effectively interact both individually and as part of a team to achieve goals;

- ability to participate in continuous training and professional growth with the aim of adapting to the rapid development of technologies through participation in additional courses, career guidance initiatives and extracurricular activities;

- the ability to use foreign language skills to obtain the necessary scientific and technical information. The ability to use a foreign language to prepare presentations and in oral speech.
