School of Advanced Technologies and İnnovation Engineering

The Department, named "Mathematics and Computer Technologies," started its activities in 1991 under the Faculty of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering. During its operation, the Department has trained specialists in the fields of Informatics and Computing Technology, Information Technologies and Systems Engineering, and Computer Engineering.

Since 2017, the department has transformed into the School of High Technologies and Innovative Engineering. The School aims to train professional, research-oriented, independent thinkers, and creative and innovative engineers in various engineering fields. Its goal is to meet the needs of society and industry in education, research, and applied fields, with the aim of becoming a leader in the education, research, and industrial sectors. In parallel with the rapidly increasing demand for specialists in the industry, the school continually develops its faculty and material-technical base to meet the growing needs of the student population.

To ensure the training of highly qualified specialists, the school is equipped with modern classrooms, laboratories, and a library rich in literature in Azerbaijani, English, Russian, and other languages. The faculty consists of academics, professors, doctors of sciences and philosophy, highly qualified teachers, as well as invited scholars and experts with international experience from various countries.

The mission of the school is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the fields of high technologies and innovative engineering. For this reason, the following laboratories have been established in the faculty:

  • Chemistry and Environmental Monitoring Laboratory
  • Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory
  • Botany Cabinet
  • Ecology Cabinet
  • Human and Animal Anatomy and Physiology Cabinet
  • Geomatics Laboratory
  • Mechanics Laboratory
  • Physics Laboratory
  • Technopark
  • Digital Center
  • Digital Technologies Laboratory

High-quality education is provided for students in all specializations. Students benefit from modern laboratories developed in collaboration with the most experienced companies in the USA and Europe.
