Objectives
Objectives of training in the specialty “Information Technology” are aimed at training highly qualified specialists with broad knowledge and skills to work with information systems, networks, databases, software and solutions in the field of IT.
Learning outcomes in the specialty “Information Technology”:
- ability to apply knowledge in the field of mathematics, information technology, science and engineering to solve practical problems;
- ability to identify problems and find a systemic solution through experimentation, situation analysis and interpretation of the obtained data;
- ability to develop, implement and evaluate software or hardware-software solutions, taking into account real-world constraints and needs;
- ability to recognize, formulate and schematically solve complex technical and engineering problems;
- ability to work with modern engineering methods, skills and tools, as well as standards necessary for professional IT activities;
- ability to apply mathematical knowledge, algorithmic principles and theoretical foundations of computer science in the creation and modeling of computing systems, taking into account the limitations and assumptions;
- ability to analyze and evaluate the impact of information technology on society, organizations and individuals both at the local and global level;
- ability to interact effectively both individually and as part of a team to achieve set goals;
- ability to participate in continuous learning and professional growth in order to adapt to the rapid development of technology through participation in additional courses, career guidance initiatives and extracurricular activities;
- ability to use foreign language skills to obtain the necessary scientific and technical information. The ability to use a foreign language to prepare presentations and in oral speech.
