Gulsara Vahid qizi Aghayeva was born in 1990 in Baku. In 2008, she graduated from Secondary School No. 82. That same year, she was admitted to the Faculty of Translation (English-Azerbaijani) at Azerbaijan University of Languages, and graduated in 2012. In the same year, she was admitted to the masters program in Translation (English-Azerbaijani) at Baku Slavic University and completed it with distinction in 2014.
In 2013, she began working as a translator at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Later, she held the position of senior specialist in the “Scientific Information and Translation” department.
In 2018, at her own request, she resigned from her position and began working as a translator at the “Report” Information Agency. In 2021, again at her own request, she left that position and started working as a translator at the “APA” Information Agency.
In 2023, she began teaching as a part-time instructor at the Department of English Language Teaching Methodology at Azerbaijan University of Languages.
She is currently working as head and lecturer of the Departments of English Language and Translation, as well as English Language and Literature at Western Caspian University.
